The invention discloses a bridge wind barrier device and a using method thereof. The wind barrier device comprises two baffle plates, wherein the two baffles are hinged to two sides of a bridge correspondingly, the baffle is arranged in the bridge direction, the baffle comprises a plurality of sections in the length direction, a ventilation rate of the sections is larger than 0, the sections can rotate on the corresponding side faces of the bridge, a plurality of anemometers are arranged on two sides of the bridge respectively, and the anemometers are used for collecting incoming wind characteristic data. The device is advantaged in that bridge floor crosswind is effectively reduced, bridge floor crosswind driving safety is ensured, aerodynamic configuration of the bridge can be effectively changed, flutter performance of the bridge under different incoming flow conditions is improved, inconvenience and unscientificity of overall movement of the baffle are avoided, timeliness of adjustment is improved, flexible adjustment is facilitated, the structure is simple, functions are diversified, and the baffle is particularly suitable for guaranteeing safety and stability of large-span bridge engineering of mountainous terrains with complex wind environments.
