The invention discloses a method for preparing Gd2Zr2O7 transparent ceramic through vacuum pressureless sintering, and particularly relates to a method for preparing the Gd2Zr2O7 transparent ceramic at a relatively low temperature through a vacuum pressureless single-step sintering method by adopting a composite sintering aid. The method comprises the steps: taking Gd2Zr2O7 powder as raw materialpowder, adding a small amount (less than or equal to 2.5 percent) of a mixture of Y2O3, La2O3 and HfO2 as a sintering aid, performing ball-milling and mixing to prepare a biscuit, and performing vacuum pressureless single-step sintering at a relatively low temperature (1650 DEG C-1750 DEG C) to obtain the Gd2Zr2O7 transparent ceramic with good optical transmittance.
