The invention discloses a server upper cover lock. The server upper cover lock comprises a shell fixed to an upper cover plate, a rotating plate rotationally connected with the shell through a pivotalcomponent, a handle fixedly connected with the rotating plate, a sliding block rotationally connected with the handle through a pivotal component and a button contained on the side, away from the handle, in a concave portion. The downward concave portion is formed in the shell, and sliding grooves and a stroke groove are formed in the concave portion. The rotating plate is contained in the concave portion. The rotating tail end of the handle is provided with a buckling groove. Sliding arms are arranged on the two sides of the sliding block, a limiting hole is formed in the position, corresponding to the stroke groove, of the sliding block, and the support penetrates through the stroke groove and the limiting hole to extend so as to provide counter-acting force of lifting the upper cover plate for the shell when the sliding block moves. The button is stressed by responding to an indication mark so that a buckling check block can be separated out of the blocking groove so as to releasethe handle. The server upper cover lock can be opened without tools, labor-saving demounting and mounting are achieved, accidental closing is avoided, and cost is reduced.
