The invention discloses an upper cover lock and a server with the same. The upper cover lock comprises a lock body, a driving component, a lock block, a driven component and a magnetic piece, whereinthe driving component is arranged on one side of the lock body; the driven component is arranged on the other side of the lock body and corresponds to the driving component; the magnetic piece is arranged on the driven component; the lock block capable of moving along a through hole is arranged at the front end of the lock body; rotation of the driving component controls rotation of the driven component; and rotation of the driven component controls the lock block to slide in and out of the lock body. According to the upper cover lock, the driving component and the driven component are arranged on the lock body, the magnetic piece is arranged on the driven component, the rotation of the magnetic piece can be linked by rotating the driving component, and the rotation of the magnetic piece controls unlocking and locking actions of the lock block. The upper cover of the server is unlocked and opened through the upper cover lock, the whole operation steps are simple, and the upper cover can be locked or unlocked by only pushing the upper cover to a stop position and rotating a driving shaft.
