According to the hydropower station volute outer wrapping concrete structure, concrete tensile force caused by loads is reduced or offset by exerting prestress on the volute outer wrapping concrete, and therefore tensile stress of structure components can be reduced, and while requirements of plants for structure rigidity and deformation control are met, the section size of the volute outer wrapping concrete is reduced as much as possible, the plant construction scale is reduced, and investment is reduced.
