The system comprises an airfield pavement foreign matter detection device which comprises a tower radar scanning unit for detecting a runway foreign matter and acquiring position information of the runway foreign matter and photoelectric monitoring equipment carrying out linkage adjustment based on calibration information corresponding to the position of the foreign matter to acquire a runway foreign matter image; a main control platform which receives the position information of the foreign matter, outputs calibration information corresponding to the position of the foreign matter to the photoelectric monitoring equipment based on the position information of the foreign matter, optimizes the runwayforeign matter image, judges the danger level of the runway foreign matter after optimization, and outputs a foreign matter removal instruction and foreign matter removal information; and a road surface foreign matter removal device which receives the foreign matter removal instruction and the foreign matter removal information from the main control platform and removes the foreign matter. All-time and all-weather runway pavement foreign matter detection and removal are achieved, the foreign matter removal efficiency is high, and the foreign matter detection accuracy is high.
