According to the novel foxhole excavator, technological improvement is conducted from the structure, special profile steel is adopted tobe welded into a framework, the size of the framework is adapted to different specifications of tunnels, transverse square steel and vertical square steel are welded to the framework, and sliding rail type square steel of different specifications are installed inside the square steel in a sleeved manner; an arc crescent rotating cutter is welded to the end of the square steel framework, the rotating cutter is be driven by a motor, during operation, the rotating cutter can slide on the sliding rails through transverse and vertical gears, so that an arc rotating cutter of the excavator can extend and retract and move between a high position and a low position, and then different sizes of foxholes can be dug. Four wheels of the same type are arranged on the periphery of the framework, when muck needs to be cleared, the framework can be moved to leave, and after muck clearing is completed, the framework is moved back to be operated again to expand excavation until the foxhole is formed.
