The invention discloses a connecting device of a fabricated reinforced concrete vertical stress member and a construction method, and belongs to the technical field of concrete assembly. The connecting device includes an upper prefabricated reinforced concrete member and a lower prefabricated reinforced concrete member; the lower prefabricated reinforced concrete member is provided with nut cushion blocks, joint bars and a channel; the upper prefabricated reinforced concrete member is provided with joint bar holes, grouting sleeve grout inlet holes and grouting sleeve grout outlet holes; toughened glass cover plates are installed on the outer side faces of four openings of a joint; a plug is installed at an outlet of the channel; and choke plugs are installed on the grouting sleeve grout inlet holes and the grouting sleeve grout outlet holes. The invention further discloses a construction method of the connecting device. According to the connecting device of the fabricated vertical stress member, firstly, an original structure cannot be damaged; secondly, the visual management that whether the joint is filled with a grouting material fully or not is realized; thirdly, the sealing performance of the joint is better; and fourthly, the connection position of the vertical stress member is freer.
