The invention provides an excavating and conveying assembly of sandy soil for mine soil restoration. The excavating and conveying assembly comprises a mounting rack, an excavating mechanism and a conveying mechanism, wherein the excavating mechanism is used for excavating and collecting sandy soil in an iron producing area; the conveying mechanism is used for conveying the sandy oil excavated andcollected by the excavating mechanism into a cleaning device; the excavating mechanism comprises a fixed cylinder; a columnar discharging cylinder connected and communicating with the fixed cylinder is coaxially and fixedly arranged at the end part of the fixed cylinder; a rectangular feeding hole connected and communicating with the excircle surface of the fixed cylinder is formed in the top of the excircle surface of the fixed cylinder; a rectangular discharging hole connected and communicating with the excircle surface of a discharging cylinder is formed in the bottom of the excircle surface of the discharging cylinder; a rotary drum is coaxially and movably arranged on the excircle surface of the fixed cylinder in a sleeving manner; the excircle surface of the rotary drum is arranged to take the shape of a regular octagon; a falling opening penetrating through inside and outside is formed in the octagonal end face outside the rotary drum; a bucket is fixedly arranged on the octagonal end face outside the rotary drum; the opening direction of the bucket is formed in the anticlockwise direction of the circumference of the rotary drum; the bucket can be inserted below the ground of a sandy oil area and excavates and scoops up the sandy soil.
