The invention discloses a cement fiberboard curtain wall system and an installation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of building exterior wall decoration. The cement fiberboard curtain wall system comprises main keels, wherein secondary keels are arranged at the two sides of each main keel; cement fiberboards are arranged on the secondary keels and connected with the secondary keels through special rivets; each secondary keel unit comprises the left secondary keel and the right secondary keel; the secondary keels are connected with the main keels through self-tapping screws;the cement fiberboards comprise the left cement fiberboards and the right cement fiberboards; each left cement fiberboard is connected with the corresponding left secondary keel through the corresponding special rivet; each right cement fiberboard is connected with the corresponding right secondary keel through the corresponding special rivet; and rubber gaskets are arranged between the cement fiberboards and the secondary keels. According to the cement fiberboard curtain wall system and the installation method thereof, the cement fiberboards are connected with the secondary keels through thespecial rivets, the secondary keels are connected with the main keels through the self-tapping screws, and therefore the problems of welding tress deformation of the main and secondary keels due to welding connection and poor flatness of mature faces of cement boards are solved; and sealing rubber strips are arranged in longitudinal and horizontal connecting gaps of the cement fiberboards, so thatthe tightness is good, and the installation is simple.
