The invention relates to the technical field of refractory materials, and especially relates to a basic refractory material for coreless induction furnaces. The basic refractory material comprises thefollowing raw materials in percentage by weight: 60-80% of natural magnesia, 5-15% of fused quartz, 1-6% of boric acid or boric anhydride; 1-5% of phenolic resin, 5-10% of zirconia, and 5-15% of calcium oxide, wherein the natural magnesia is composed of a plurality of natural magnesia with different particle sizes, and the mass percentages of the natural magnesia with different particle sizes relative to the total mass of the natural magnesia are as follows: 35-50% of silica sand with the particle size of 0-1mm, 20-40% of silica sand with the particle size of 1-3mm, and 20-50% of silica sandwith the particle size of 3-6mm. The natural magnesia with different granularities is mixed according to a certain proportion, and a proper amount of additives and a binding agent is added into the natural magnesia, the corrosion resistance, permeation resistance and shock cooling and heating resistance of the furnace lining are improved, the prepared furnace lining is good in compactness, low inporosity and small in thermal expansion coefficient, and the service life of an induction circuit is prolonged.
