The invention discloses a magnetic tamping device for an electric power engineering pole. The magnetic tamping device comprises a positioning rotating cylinder, a lifting guiding sleeve arranged outside the positioning rotating cylinder in a sleeving mode, a lifting driving sleeve arranged outside the lifting guiding sleeve in a sleeving mode and for rotating coordination, a magnetic repulsion combination, a telescopic bearing rod and external tamping columns, the external tamping columns are evenly distributed along the circumference relative to the positioning rotating cylinder, and the positioning rotating cylinder comprises a positioning cylinder and a connecting cylinder, wherein the bottom of the connecting cylinder is rotatably matched with the top of the positioning cylinder.
