The invention discloses a preparation method of a self-cleaning wear-resistant functional material. The preparation method comprises the following four steps: diatomite activation, primary crushing, secondary crushing of mixed materials, and mixing and stirring. A sodium carbonate solution is used for diatomite activation, so that acidic organic matters and ionic impurities in the diatomite can beremoved, the whiteness and bulk density of the diatomite are improved; and high-temperature activation greatly reduces the content of oxide impurities and increases the specific surface area and thepore volume. The self-cleaning wear-resistant functional material is smeared on the outer wall of a building and is naturally aired; the diatomite has high specific surface area, pore volume and bulkdensity, so a large amount of water is can efficiently absorbed and released, the wall surface humidity is adjusted, and harmful gases such as free formaldehyde, benzene, toluene and the like in the air are adsorbed; and the Portland fly ash cement and a sepiolite fabric improve the strength and the wear resistance of the material, further improve the adsorption performance and the self-cleaning purification performance of the material due to the good crushing uniformity, and prolong the service life of the outer wall.
