The invention discloses a coordinate control point protection device. The coordinate control point protection device is simple in structure and compact in arrangement, coordinate control points can be effectively protected against being damaged by other procedures in a construction process in cooperation with a manufacturing and using method of the coordinate control point protection device, the coordinate control points can be well stored and conveniently found, it is guaranteed that measurement operation is smoothly carried out, and in addition, the coordinate control point protection device can be made of waste steel generated in the construction process, so that the construction cost is further reduced, and good practicability is achieved.
