Magnesium hydroxide has a very good neutralizing effect on acid wastewater when used as an acidwastewater neutralizing treatment agent, the pH value of the neutralized wastewater does not exceed 9, and suspended particles in the wastewater can be quickly settled. Magnesium hydroxide is used asa reactant during phosphogypsum pretreatment, plays a good role, and can react with harmful substances in phosphogypsum to form precipitates to be discharged. The method can effectively reduce the cleaning frequency of phosphogypsum, improve the cleaning effect and improve the strength of the cleaned phosphogypsum. A foundation is laid for subsequent production of building gypsum products from phosphogypsum, and economic benefits are brought.
