The invention relates to a box-type water supply system comprising a water tank inlet pipe, a box body, a water pump inlet pipe, a water supply pipe, a data collector and a controller, wherein the boxbody comprises a water tank and a pump room, and the water tank is provided with a pit and a level gauge; a water pump is arranged inside the pump room, and the water pump is provided with a water pump inlet and a water pump outlet; one end of the water pump inlet pipe is located at the position of the pit, the other end is connected to the water pump inlet, and the water pump outlet is connectedto the water supply pipe; the water tank inlet pipe is provided with a water tank inlet regulating valve and an inlet flow meter, the water pump inlet pipe is provided with a water tank outlet flow meter and a water tank outlet regulating valve, and the water supply pipe is provided with a stop valve and a pressure sensor; the data collector is used to collect various data signals; and the controller is used to control related components. The invention improves the effective volume utilization rate of the water tank, and can prevent the mechanical seal of the water pump from being damaged dueto dry grinding to improve the service life of the water pump.
