The invention discloses a threshold structure with a water-stop platform and a construction method thereof. The threshold structure sequentially comprises a concrete leveling layer, a dry cement mortar bonding layer and a surface layer from bottom to top, a concrete water-stop platform is further arranged at one end of the concrete leveling layer, and the top plane of the concrete water-stop platform is higher than the top plane of the concrete leveling layer; and the threshold structure further comprises a waterproof layer, and the waterproof layer is laid along the top plane of the concretewater-stop platform to the top plane of the concrete leveling layer. A manufacturing mold for the water-stop platform of a threshold is further provided and comprises an angle iron plate, a steel plate and a steel film handle structure for connecting the angle iron plate with the steel plate. According to the threshold structure, the concrete water-stop platform is arranged, so that water in the dry cement mortar bonding layer in a wet area structure of a building is effectively prevented from flowing and leaking to the ground, and the problems that the wooden floor at the junction of a dry area and the wet area is damp and arched, a wooden skirting line is damp and moldy, a PVC floor is damp, warped and hollowed, and the service life and comfort of a room in the dry area are seriously affected are avoided.
