The invention provides a pressure monitoring and controlling system for a water supply network. The pressure monitoring and controlling system for the water supply network comprises a pressure monitoring module used for monitoring water pressure in a water supply pipeline at a pressure adjusting point in real time, a control module used for conducting analysis and treatment on pressure data monitored and collected by the pressure monitoring module, a cloud platform system used for background monitoring and operation control, a communication module used for transmitting the pressure data analyzed and processed by the control module to the cloud platform system and a valve adjusting device used for adjusting the opening degree of a pressure reducing valve so as to adjust the downstream waterpressure of the pressure adjusting point. The pressure monitoring module, the communication module and the valve adjusting device are electrically connected with the control module. The pressure monitoring and controlling system for the water supply network solves the problems that during monitoring of the water supply pressure of a water supply network, the adjustment and control precision of the pipeline network pressure is low, self-adaptive adjustment of the pipeline network pressure according to the change of the demand for the downstream water pressure of the pressure adjusting point cannot be achieved, downstream water supply pressure balance of the pressure adjusting point is difficult to guarantee, and the risk of the pipeline network leakage loss and the pipeline network pipe explosion is increased.
