The invention discloses a support used for a nuclear island containment. The support comprises an operation platform, reinforced triangular plates (5), holding steel plates (4), bolts (3), and friction cushion blocks (6), the operation platform serves as the top of the support, at least two holding steel plates (4) which are symmetrically placed are arranged below the operation platform (2), one reinforced triangular plate (5) is mounted between each holding steel plate (4) and the operation platform (2), a space is reserved between the two symmetrically-placed holding steel plates (4), the support is mounted on the containment through the space, the holding steel plates (4) are fixed to the containment through the bolts (3) which are mounted in advance, and the friction cushion blocks (6)are mounted between the bolts (3) and the containment. A reactor factory temporary top cap and other structures can be directly mounted on the containment, and the actual engineering needs can be metto the maximum degree.
