The invention discloses a longitudinal beam falling prevention device. The invention belongs to the technical field of bridges. The device comprises at least three groups of longitudinal energy dissipation units for connecting a bent cap and a main beam, each longitudinal energy dissipation unit comprises a first guide groove, a second guide groove, first sliding rods, a second sliding rod and a damping rod. The first guide groove is fixedly connected to the bottom of the main beam in the longitudinal direction. The second guide groove is fixedly connected to one side of the bent cap in the vertical direction. First sliding grooves allowing the first sliding rods to slide are formed in the two side walls of the first guide groove. The first sliding rods penetrate through the first slidinggrooves in the longitudinal energy dissipation units at the same time. The first sliding rods are balanced by using a self-balancing system, and a group of self-balancing system is arranged between each pair of adjacent longitudinal energy dissipation units. The device is used for being installed between a bridge pier and a bridge, excessive displacement between the bridge in the longitudinal direction is prevented, and the effects of shock absorption, energy dissipation and beam falling prevention of the bridge under the earthquake action are achieved.
