A flexible beam falling prevention device relates to an anti-seismic device for a bridge and comprises a connecting cable and an anchoring part. The anchoring parts are connected to the two ends of the connecting cable in an anchoring mode respectively and connected with the side face of the pier and the bottom of the box girder respectively, and the connecting cable is a high-strength steel strand inhaul cable or a high-strength steel wire rope. The anchoring part comprises an anchoring cylinder, a fork lug and a universal hinge bracket; the anchoring cylinders are respectively anchored and connected to two ends of the connecting cable; one end of the fork lug is fixedly connected with the anchoring cylinder, and the other end is rotationally connected with the universal hinge bracket; the universal hinge brackets are installed on the side faces of the bridge piers and the bottoms of the box girders respectively. A buffer is further installed between the fork lug at any end of the bridge pier or the box girder and the anchoring cylinder. Multi-directional anti-beam-falling limiting can be achieved at the same time, the instant impact test requirement can be met, and the energy dissipation structure is simple in overall structure, clear in stress, easy to achieve, convenient and efficient to construct and install and particularly suitable for anti-seismic measures of simply-supported system beam bridges.
