The invention discloses a novel deviation self-correcting open caisson and a deviation correction method thereof and belongs to the technical field of bridge open caisson foundations. The novel deviation self-correcting open caisson comprises an open caisson, a bottoming concrete plate and an open caisson top plate, wherein a plurality of caisson holes arranged in the form of matrix are arranged in the open caisson; every two adjacent caisson holes are spaced from each other through an open caisson wall; the caisson holes in the inner ring of the open caisson are sealed caisson holes; the caisson holes in the outer ring of the open caisson are deviation self-correcting caisson holes; the bottoming concrete plate is sealed at the bottom of the open caisson; the open caisson top cover is positioned at the top of the open caisson; sand filling and water drainage holes are formed in the open caisson top cover; the sand filling and water drainage holes communicate with the deviation self-correcting caisson holes; and the sand filling and water drainage holes are used for filling the deviation self-correcting caisson holes with sand stones or draining water from the deviation self-correcting caisson holes. According to the novel deviation self-correcting open caisson and the deviation correction method thereof, water is pumped out from the deviation self-correcting caisson holes in the inclined direction to reduce the weight according to the inclined direction of the open caisson; the deviation self-correcting caisson holes reverse to the inclined direction are filled with sand stones to increase the weight of the deviation self-correcting caisson holes so as to realize loading in the reverse direction; and therefore, the open caisson generates anti-inclination bending momentto realize deviation correction of the open caisson foundation.
