The switching mechanism comprises a water way body, a rotary knob, a first moving part, a second moving part and a water way switching assembly, wherein at least two water ways are arranged in the water way body; the rotary knob is rotatably and movably arranged on a water outlet pipe, and can perform water way switching by clockwise rotation or anticlockwise rotation; the first moving part is movably arranged in the water outlet pipe, and is driven by the rotary knob to convert rotary motion into linear motion; the second moving part is movably arranged in the water outlet pipe, and is driven by the first moving part to convert rotary motion into linear motion; and the water way switching assembly is fixedly arranged in the water outlet pipe, and is driven by the second moving part to perform water way switching. The switching mechanism realizes that the rotary knob can perform function switching clockwise or anticlockwise, and is convenient for operation habits of various users.
