The method comprises the following steps: carrying out spray drying on a precursor solution containing polyzirconoxane, phenolic resin and a solvent to obtain precursor hollow microspheres; subjecting the hollow microspheres sequentially to binder removal carbonization and sintering to obtain the zirconium carbide ceramic hollow microspheres.
