The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a board blank of the mineral wool decorative acoustic board; (2)polishing the surface of the board blank, spraying an aqueous paint, and drying; and (3) adding tourmaline powder into the aqueous paint, then spraying the aqueous paint on the surface of the board blank obtained in the step (2), and drying to obtain the functional mineral wool decorative acoustic board. The mineral wool decorative acoustic board has a negative ion release function, can purify the environment, and is simple in preparation process and low in cost.
