According to the electric flexible shaft tamping machine, the two tamping machine heads are used as tamping tools, and the tamping machine heads make direct contact with railway ballasts to serve as the tamping tools. A rechargeable battery is used as a power source, the rechargeable battery drives the motor during operation, the motor drives the tamping machine heads to conduct tamping operation through the transmission device, feeding of the tamping machine heads in the vertical direction is completed through manual assistance and smoothness and effectiveness of tamping operation are ensured.The tamping machine is a handheld tamping machine tool and is novel and practical in structure, small in size, light in weight and quite convenient to go up and down the track and drives the two tamping machine heads to work at the same time and is particularly suitable for maintaining and tamping operation of an acceleration line by utilizing train gaps. The tamping efficiency is improved, and the labor intensity of an operator is relieved; meanwhile, labor conditions are improved, and operation is safe, environment-friendly and easy.
