The preparation method of the feed-grade calcium carbonate comprises the following steps: 1) crushing limestone, and calcining in a lime kiln; 2) feeding the calcined limestone into a pulverizer to bepulverized, classifying pulverized limestone particles by a classification system, and feeding the limestone particles into a fractional precipitation tank; 3) reducing the temperature of the kiln gas purified by the lime kiln in the step 1) to 28-32 DEG C, introducing the kiln gas into the fractional precipitation tank in the step 2), and curing limestone; 4) dehydrating and concentrating the feed liquid cured in the step 3) to obtain a calcium carbonate filter cake of which the water content is less than 30%; and 5) drying the calcium carbonate filter cake obtained in the step 4), crushing,and packaging the graded powder. The preparation method of the feed-grade calcium carbonate is simple to operate; classified curing treatment is performed through the fractional precipitation tank, so that the curing efficiency is high, the preparation period is short and the cost is low; calcining is performed before crushing by the pulverizer, so that the abrasion of the pulverizer is reduced,and the service life of equipment is prolonged.
