The invention relates to the field of pavement snow melting and deicing, and discloses an asphalt pavement shallow snow melting and deicing system and method. The system comprises a pavement structure, a heating fluid pipeline and a heat supply device, the pavement structure is provided with an asphalt material surface layer, the heating fluid pipeline is buried in the asphalt material surface layer and communicated with the heat supply device, the heating fluid pipeline is characterized in that the burying depth of the heating fluid pipeline ranges from 2.5 cm to 5 cm, the pipe diameter of the heating fluid pipeline ranges from 2 mm to 5 mm, the thickness of the pipe wall of the heating fluid pipeline is larger than 0.3 mm, the yield strength of the material of the heating fluid pipelineis larger than 160 MPa, and the elasticity modulus of the material of the heating fluid pipeline ranges from 120 GPa to 450 GPa. According to the asphalt pavement snow melting and deicing system, theheating fluid pipeline is buried 2.5-5cm below the pavement surface; the snow melting and deicing efficiency is improved, the construction difficulty is reduced, deformation and damage of the heatingfluid pipeline are prevented, meanwhile, deformation of the heating fluid pipeline and deformation of the asphalt mixture are coordinated, the mechanical property of the asphalt pavement is kept to the maximum extent, and the service life of the asphalt pavement and the snow melting and deicing system is prolonged.
