The invention discloses a road construction method which comprises the following steps: a curing agent is doped into a soil layer, so that a mixture of the curing agent and soil has certain impermeability; and then the mixture of the curing agent and the soil is impacted and rolled by an impact roller, so that the compactness, the overall stability and the impermeability of the mixture are enhanced. According to the road construction method, the curing agent is used as the waterproof layer of the road; the waterproof effect and the soil hardening effect are enhanced through impact rolling, thecuring agent soil mixture is used for replacing or reducing limestone soil or cement stabilized soil in the prior art, and the effects of simplifying the construction process, shortening the construction time, reducing the construction cost and protecting the environment are achieved.
