The invention relates to a split-type post-cast strip plugging tool and a construction method thereof. The tool structurally comprises a plurality of groups of plugging plates, wherein the plugging plates comprise upper plugging plates and lower plugging plates which are symmetrically arranged up and down, water stopping steel plates are arranged between the upper plugging plates and the lower plugging plates, first sleeves are fixedly arranged on the side faces, and two groups of plugging plates are symmetrically arranged to form a section of blocking tool; a strut is arranged between the first sleeves on the two symmetrically arranged groups of plugging plates, the strut is composed of a telescopic rod and a second sleeve, a plurality of small holes are uniformly formed in the second sleeve, a fixing buckle is arranged on the telescopic rod, and a spring is arranged below the fixing buckle; and the sides close to the water stopping steel plate of the upper plugging plates and the lower plugging plates are provided with a plurality of clamping grooves, and the clamping grooves are used for installing reinforcement, when pressed, the fixing buckles stretches and moves to be buckledat different holes in the second sleeve under the action of the spring. The tool has the advantages of simple structure, convenient transportation, quick disassembly and assembly, safe and convenientplugging.
