The construction control method of the road roller comprises the following steps that a driver operates a control handle to move from a zero point position toan actual stop position L1; a controller obtains the actual stop position L1 and used operation time t1, the controller inquires a maximum starting acceleration a1 according to map1, and when a vehicle is started at the maximum starting acceleration a1, an external force applied to a road surface by the vehicle is the maximum external force which can be borne by the road surface at a road surfacetemperature T1 and movement is not performed at the moment; and the controller inquires the to-be-started acceleration a11 capable of enabling the road roller to be started through the control handleby a driver according to map2, compares a1 with a11 and makes the vehicle be started with the smaller one of a1 and a11 so that a bituminous mixture can be prevented from being pushed or upset.
