The invention discloses an active underpinning beam-column joint device and a construction method thereof. The active underpinning beam-column joint device comprises variable cross-section piles ( lower large-diameter piles and upper small-diameter piles), underpinning beams, active underpinning jacks, pull rods, anchorage devices and distribution beams; the bottoms of the underpinning beams can be directly placed on the tops of the lower large-diameter piles in the variable cross-section piles correspondingly, the vertical bearing capacity of the large-diameter piles is fully utilized, the upper small-diameter piles in the variable cross-section piles penetrates through reserved holes of the underpinning beams and play a horizontal limiting role together with the underpinning beams, the active underpinning jacks installed on the tops of the small-diameter piles correspondingly, and a lifting type active underpinning device is formed. According to the device and the construction methodthereof, the advantages of lifting type active underpinning and jacking type active underpinning are combined.
