The invention discloses an assembly type abutment capable of relieving a bumping problem of a bridgehead. The abutment comprises a prefabricated front wall, two prefabricated side walls, a abutment foundation, a steel back wall structure and a steel abutment cap structure. The two sides of the prefabricated front wall are connected with the two prefabricated side walls respectively, and the lowerend of the prefabricated front wall and the lower ends of the two prefabricated side walls are connected with the abutment foundation respectively; first embedded parts are arranged on a back portionof the prefabricated front wall, second embedded parts are arranged on the inner sides of the front portions of the two prefabricated side walls respectively, the steel back wall structure is arrangedbetween the two prefabricated side walls, the lower portion of the steel back wall structure is connected with the first embedded parts, and the side portions of the steel back wall structure are connected with the two second embedded parts on the two prefabricated side walls respectively; and the steel abutment cap structure is placed on the top surface of the prefabricated front wall. The invention further provides a construction method of the assembly type abutment. The assembly type abutment has beneficial effects that the assembly type abutment is high in strength, safe and stable; and an abutment height can be adjusted on site according to actual engineering conditions, and the bumping problem of the bridgehead is relieved to a certain extent.
