The invention discloses machine-sprayed surface layer plastering gypsum with a purification function. The machine-sprayed surface layer plastering gypsum is prepared from pretreated phosphogypsum powder, a curing agent, water, a retarder, a water-retaining agent, a purifying agent and optionally an accelerant. The mass ratio of the pretreated phosphogypsum to the curing agent to the water to the retarder to the water-retaining agent to the purifying agent is 100 to (1.5 to 5) to (200 to 300) to (2 to 5) to (5 to 25) to (0.5 to 2). The invention further provides a preparation method of the machine-sprayed surface layer plastering gypsum with the purification function. According to the machine-sprayed surface layer plastering gypsum disclosed by the invention, recycling of phosphogypsum is realized; harm of soluble phosphorus and fluorine in the ardealite powder is eliminated; and harmful impurity ions in the phosphogypsum are effectively cured.
