The invention discloses plastering gypsum for a machine-sprayed thermal insulation layer. The plastering gypsum for the machine-sprayed thermal insulation layer is prepared from the following components in parts by weight based on 100 parts of phosphogypsum: 1.5 to 5 parts of curing agent, 2 to 5 parts of retarder, 10 to 25 parts of water-retaining agent, 20 to 60 parts of building sand, 15 to 50parts of vitrified micro bubbles, 0.1 to 0.5 part of pre-gelatinized starch, 400 to 600 parts of water and optionally an accelerant. The invention further provides a preparation method of the machine-sprayed insulation layer plastering gypsum. According to the invention, the machine-sprayed insulation layer plastering gypsum is prepared from phosphogypsum. The various mechanical properties of theprepared machine-sprayed bottom plastering gypsum meet the requirements, and the problem that common plastering gypsum cannot be mechanically constructed is solved; manual plastering is replaced by mechanical plastering, so that the construction efficiency can be greatly improved, and the construction period is shortened; construction process is simple.
