The invention discloses a lightweight cable dome structure shape optimization method, which comprises the following steps: (1) establishing an optimization target of a cable dome structure: on the premise that model structure parameters and component parameters of the cable dome structure are not changed, ensuring that the structural robustness is not reduced and the weight is the lightest; (2) selecting optimization parameters: selecting the shape parameters of the cable dome structure to be optimized as the optimization parameters; (3) selecting a global optimization algorithm for optimization; (4) according to the optimization algorithm selected in the step (3), optimizing the optimization parameters selected in the step (2) by taking the optimization target of the dome structure established in the step (1) as a constraint to obtain optimized shape parameters of the cable dome structure; and (5) constructing a cable dome structure model according to the cable dome structure optimization parameters obtained in the step (4). According to the lightweight cable dome structure shape optimization method, the shape structure design defects can be avoided, and the dead weight of the cable dome structure is reduced by optimizing the shape of the cable dome structure.
