The invention discloses a multi-factor cable dome structure quality optimization method with structure robustness constraint. The method comprises the following steps: (1) designing an initial model according to a quality upper limit required by cable dome quality; (2) evaluating the structural robustness of the initial model, and taking the structural robustness of the initial model as an optimization constraint condition; (3) determining a search space of each optimization parameter; (4) searching each optimization parameter of the optimized cable dome structure by adopting a global optimization algorithm to obtain a single-truss shape feature of the optimized cable dome structure and the cross sectional area of each rod piece of the cable dome structure with the single-truss shape; and(5) substituting the single-truss shape characteristic of the optimized cable dome structure and the cross sectional area of each rod piece of the cable dome structure with the single-truss shape intothe initial model to obtain an optimized cable dome structure model. According to the method, the material distribution is optimized on the premise that the structural robustness is not lower than the initial structural robustness, so that the structural mass is the lightest, and the structural cost is effectively reduced.
