The invention relates to bonding mortar for bonding smooth interfaces and a preparation method thereof. The bonding mortar is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 40 to 50 partsof cement, 40 to 50 parts of quartz sand, 5 to 10 parts of latex powder, 0.5 to 5 parts of a water-retaining thickening material, 1 to 3 parts of a water reducing agent, 0 to 0.5 part of a defoaming agent, 0.5 to 1 part of an early strength agent and 2 to 10 parts of modified microwave-treated fly ash. The bonding mortar prepared by adopting the formula and the preparation method disclosed by theinvention has the advantages of good weather resistance, high tensile adhesive strength, excellent slip resistance, good water retention capacity and no bleeding phenomenon. The bonding mortar can beused for bonding smooth interfaces of glass plates and the like, and is particularly suitable for bonding the glass plates with cement-based materials and bonding glass plates with ceramic tiles in ahumid environment.
