The invention discloses an algae collecting device which comprises an algae collecting part with adjustable height, a floating component and a water pump component; the algae collecting part is fixedly mounted at a target position through a bracket and comprises a first suction cylinder and a second suction cylinder; the first suction cylinder and the second suction cylinder are connected in a telescopic manner; when the first suction cylinder does axial movement relative to the second suction cylinder, the first suction cylinder can retract in the second suction cylinder or stretches out of the second suction cylinder; the floating component is used for keeping the algae collecting part to float on the water surface and is connected with the algae collecting part; the water pump componentcommunicates with the algae collecting part and is used for pumping and transferring algae in the algae collecting part to an external container. According to the algae collecting device, the heightof the algae collecting part can be adjusted to ensure that the algae suction opening of the first suction cylinder is always flush with the horizontal plane, so that the algae content collected by the algae collecting device is kept at a higher level, and the algae collecting efficiency is effectively improved; and the algae collecting device is very simple in structure and extremely low in equipment cost, so that more user can use the algae collecting device, and the using range is wider.
