The invention discloses a water pipeline system of the sponge city. The invention has the technical scheme that the water pipeline system comprises a pipeline well, a rain water collection tank, a water draining pipeline groove and a plurality of water storage ponds, wherein the rain water collection tank is connected with the pipeline well through the rain water pipeline; the plurality of water storage ponds are independently connected to different height positions of the pipeline well through pipelines; the water storage ponds are connected in sequence; and the water storage pond nearest tothe pipeline well is connected with the water draining pipeline groove through the pipeline. The rain water collection tank of the water pipeline system does not communicate with the water draining pipeline groove, so that the problem that water draining pipeline groove releases odors through the rain water collection tank is avoided, and maintenance cost is low.
