The invention provides a hydraulic system of a gear and rack lifting platform. The hydraulic system comprises a drive pump module, an oil tank, a first pipeline, a second pipeline and multiple motor modules. The drive pump module comprises a first drive pump, a two-position four-way valve, a first balance valve and a second balance valve. An oil outlet of the first drive pump communicates with a first oil port of the two-position four-way valve. A second oil port of the two-position four-way valve communicates with an oil inlet of the first balance valve. An oil outlet of the first balance valve is connected to the first pipeline. A hydraulic control port of the first balance valve communicates with a third oil port of the two-position four-way valve. An oil inlet of the second balance valve communicates with the third oil port of the two-position four-way valve. An oil outlet of the second balance valve is connected to the second pipeline. A hydraulic control port of the second balance valve communicates with a second oil port of the two-position four-way valve. A first oil port of each motor module is connected to the first pipeline, and a second oil port of each motor module isconnected to the second pipeline. By means of the hydraulic system, impacting borne by the hydraulic system in the start process can be reduced.
