The invention discloses a construction method for laying a geomembrane in a refuse landfill. The construction method for laying the geomembrane in the refuse landfill comprises the following steps ofchecking whether the base of an area in which a geomembrane is to be laid is flat and solid; scrolling to expand a geotextile volume for the geomembrane, wherein a geotextile surface should be flat and a deformation margin is reserved; adjusting the interfaces of two adjacent geotextiles to make the overlapping width of the interface meet an overlapping demand; overlapping the overlapped parts ofthe interfaces of the two adjacent geotextiles; covering the area in which the geomembrane is to be laid by overlapping a plurality of geotextiles; pressing the laid geomembrane by using sand bags; and checking the overlapped geotextiles, namely, checking whether the geotextiles have a defect or not, and repairing in time if a non-compliance phenomenon exists. The construction method for laying the geomembrane in the refuse landfill disclosed by the invention is used for treating the refuse landfill. An anti-seepage layer is arranged in the refuse landfill through reasonable geomembrane layingfacilities, so that the infiltration and contamination of contaminated soil to the underlying soil or groundwater are reduced.
