The invention discloses a municipal fire hydrant water drainage device. The structure of the municipal fire hydrant water drainage device comprises a fire hydrant, an antitheft sleeve, an emergent closing mechanism, a water input pipe and a connecting flange. The fire hydrant is composed of a main body, a water drainage elbow, a valve power mechanism, a connecting pipe and a water drainage mechanism. According to the fire hydrant, by means of the valve power mechanism, the water drainage mechanism in one water drainage elbow or two water drainage elbows can be rapidly started, thus the water output efficiency of the fire hydrant is improved greatly, the spreading speed of fires can be avoided as much as possible, valuable time is increased for rescue, when the fire hydrant is damaged, theemergent closing mechanism is utilized for closing the top end of the water input pipe, waste of water resources is avoided, the water resource closing speed is increased, and the water drainage device is used for emergent water closing when the fire hydrant is damaged.
