The invention provides an observation well wellhead protector capable of automatically observing the water level. The observation well wellhead protector comprises a body upper part and a body lower part connected with each other in an inserting manner; the body upper part comprises a cover body, a plurality of inserting rods and an upper casing pipe; the upper casing pipe is fixed to the middle of the lower end of the cover body; the inserting rods are uniformly fixed to the lower end of the edge of the cover body; the body lower part comprises an outer sleeve, an inner sleeve, a bracket, a measuring rod and a floating ball; an annular steel plate is fixedly connected between the lower end of the outer sleeve and the middle of the inner sleeve; the bracket is arranged in the inner sleeve;the measuring rod penetrates through the bracket; the bottom end of the measuring rod is connected with the floating ball; the floating ball drives the measuring rod to float up and down in the bracket along with water surface variation; the upper sleeve is inserted in a gap between the outer sleeve and the inner sleeve; and the inserting rod is inserted in ground. The observation well wellhead protector prevents rainwater from flowing backward, prevents a vehicle from rolling the wellhead to avoid damage to the side wall of the observation well and avoid affecting observation of the underground water level, and can automatically observe the water level.
