The rubber water stop for the underground structure expansion joint comprises an expansion joint flange, a water stop flange, a fastening hole and a fastening screw, wherein the expansion joint flange is used for blocking the expansion joint and preventing water from entering intoan underground structure through the expansion joint; the expansion joint flange is arranged in the expansion joint, and a side wall is closely attached to the side wall of a building which forms theexpansion joint; the water stop flange is used for fixing the expansion joint flange on the side wall of the building which forms the expansion joint; a first end of the water stop flange is connectedwith the expansion joint flange and a second end thereof is connected with the side wall of the building; the fastening hole is used for screwing the fastening screw; the fastening hole is arranged at a tail end of the expansion joint flange; the fastening screw is used for being screwed in the fastening hole to fix the expansion joint flange on the side wall of the building; and the fastening screw is arranged in the fastening hole. The rubber water stop for the underground structure expansion joint, and the usage method thereof, provided by the invention, are simple to construct, can improve construction speed, save construction period and save material cost and labor cost, and have relatively wider promotional value.
