The invention discloses a homogeneous gel method silicon dioxide aerogel felt and a normal-pressure preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (1) raw material preparation:preparing an aqueous solution of ammonium silicate; (2) impregnation: dipping the glass fiber mat into a prepared ammonium silicate aqueous solution until the fibers are saturated, and taking out theglass fiber mat; (3) gelatinization: putting the fibrofelt impregnated with the saturated ammonium silicate aqueous solution generated in the step (2) into a closed container, introducing carbon dioxide, keeping the carbon dioxide until a wet gel fibrofelt is formed, and then introducing steam for heat preservation; (4) solvent replacement: adding the wet gel fibrofelt generated in the step (3) into a replacement tank, adding absolute ethyl alcohol, heating and soaking; and (5) drying: performing microwave drying on the fiber felt replaced in the step (4) under the protection of nitrogen, thereby obtaining the homogeneous gel silicon dioxide aerogel thermal insulation felt.
