The invention provides a heatproof member with an excellent performance on resisting heat impact. The heatproof member contains a plurality of alumina crystals and a plurality of zirconia crystals. Al(calculated by Al2O3) accounts for 50 to 84 mass% of the total weight of the heatproof member, and Zr (calculated by ZrO2) accounts for 5 to 20 mass% of the total weight of the heatproof member. At least one of the zirconia crystals comprises a first region having a first laminated structure, and a second region having a second laminated structure. The first laminated structure has a plurality oflayers that extend along a first direction and are arranged along a second direction that is intersected with the first direction. The second laminated structure has a plurality of layers that extendalong a third direction that is intersected with the second direction and are arranged along a fourth direction (D4) that is intersected with the third direction.
