The invention provides a conical supporting body for an anchor rod. The conical supporting body comprises a cone, wherein the cone comprises a top, a bottom and an outer wall surface; the outer diameter of the top is smaller than that of the bottom; and the outer wall surface is a conical surface, and an included angle between the outer wall surface and a central axis of the cone is smaller than 45 degrees. The invention also provides the anchor rod. The anchor rod comprises an anchor rod body and the conical supporting body connected to the anchor rod body, wherein the top of the conical supporting body faces the front end of the rod body; and the conical surface faces the hole wall of an anchor hole. According to the conical supporting body and the anchor rod provided by the invention, when the anchor rod is in tension, the conical surface on the conical supporting body can extrude grouting bodies to the hole wall of the anchor hole around the axis of the anchor rod body along a normal line of the conical surface in a 360-degree omnidirectional manner, so that positive pressure is produced between the grouting bodies and the hole wall of the anchor hole; and friction resistance is produced by the positive pressure and is converted into pulling resistance of the anchor rod, so that the pulling resistance is substantially improved, the anchoring reliability is correspondingly improved, and the service life is also correspondingly prolonged.
