The invention discloses recycled concrete and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of concrete preparation. The recycled concrete comprises the following raw materials of: construction waste recycled coarse aggregate; cement; a mineral admixture; an excitant; soil; plant straw particles; waste rubber particles; an admixture; super absorbent resin beads; and water. The preparationmethod comprises the following steps of: step 1, uniformly mixing the first mineral admixture, the cement and the excitant, adding water accounting for 1/3-1/2 of the total weight, and performing uniform mixing to obtain a first intermediate product; 2, mixing the construction waste recycled coarse aggregate with the first intermediate product, and performing uniform stirring to obtain a second intermediate product; and 3, adding the plant straw, the waste rubber particles, the admixture, the super absorbent resin beads and the balance of water into the second intermediate product, and performing uniform mixing to obtain the recycled concrete. By adding the mineral admixture, the plant straw particles and the waste rubber particles into the components, an environment-friendly effect is achieved, and the prepared concrete is good in water permeability, proper in strength and suitable for vegetation growth.
