The invention relates to the technical field of environmental greening, in particular to an ecological slope protection and vertical greening process. The process can conveniently repair a slope, improve the slope repair effect, reduce water and soil loss and improve the slope surface stability. The process comprises the following steps: S1, soil loosening; S2, foreign soil preparation: taking thecrushed hay and humus as raw materials, adding a biological bacterial fertilizer, an organic fertilizer, a soil conditioner, a water-retaining agent and an adhesive into the raw materials, performinguniform mixing, adding a small amount of water, and performing stirring to obtain thick muddy foreign soil; S3, soil recombination; S4, preparation of a grass seed spray-seeding liquid: adding a compound fertilizer, an adhesive, a soil conditioner, grass seeds and crushed hay powder into water, performing stirring and uniform mixing to obtain the grass seed spray-seeding liquid; S5, hydraulic spray-seeding grass planting revetment; S6, planting of climbing plants; S7, drainage tube arrangement; S8, re-planting; and S9, regular complementary planting: checking the slope preparation and cultivation conditions regularly, and performing complementary replanting on gaps.
